You’re all I have.
So when I think of losing you, I think of losing myself.

And if you ever lose yourself
And want to isolate yourself from everyone around you,
Know that I won’t be able to survive without you,
So please try to find enough space within your solitude for me.

And please try to at least just tolerate me.
I know there’s nothing within me worth staying for
But at least let me follow you to the ends of the earth,
Even if you don’t look back at me.

In the words of Stewie Griffin,
‘I love you as one loves another person
Whom one simply cannot do without.’
He goes on to say,
‘You give my life purpose,
And maybe,
Maybe that’s enough.
Because that’s just about the greatest gift
One friend can give another.’

You give me
A place to be,
Someone to talk to,
Someone who talks to me,
Someone I actually care about,
Someone who cares about me,
Someone who trusts me,
Someone I trust,
Someone I love,
Someone who sees me as a fellow human being,
Someone I see the entire galaxy in.
Most importantly,
You give me someone to call a friend.

Thank you for letting me love you.
